I’m not someone who usually says “Ta” for comments left in reference to my posts, but this time I shall make an exception and bless you all with good wishes *chuckle*.  I’m still feeling lousy, but what the hell.  Life goes on, does it not?

Anyhoo, there is no FridayFive this week so I’m rather disappointed.  Instead I found one from last year instead and it seemed quite nice so I’m enlightening you with it, despite any objections you may have …

1. What was your most memorable moment from the last week?

Um … Oh, when I was feeling a bit down on Tuesday evening [or was it Wednesday?] The [lovely] Blokey sent me a picture text of his cheeky face.  It made me cry.  Tears of happiness and reassurance obviously.  That’s how bad I’ve been feeling …

2. What one person touched your life this week?

Most people tend to touch my life in some way, whether it be because of something they say or something they do.  Just knowing that I have people in my life who care about me is enough …

3. How have you helped someone this week?

I cooked my mumsy her dinner at the weekend.  Well, it was Mothering Sunday.  I taught a Year 11 girl how to insert symbols onto a Word document.  I helped some pupils to open their minds.

4. What one thing do you need to get done by this time next week?

Send off my most recent pay-slips to The Student Loans Company so they can continue to defer my repayments for a further year.

5. What one thing will you do over the next seven days to make your world a better place?

Smile a little more than I have this week …

Happy Weekends …

God Bless My Socks xxx Elsabeth

  1. Hello! Sorry I didn’t comment on your last post   For some reason I forgot to read it yesterday when I logged onto yours because I then re-routed to your website instead It’s looking good hun.
I know the feeling when everything in your life is good and you’re feeling shit. Life has a merry way of doing that. It’s so effing frustrating and unfair. Anyway – I really really hope you’re feeling a bit better today.

  2. I love that comment about “socks appeal.” It made me smile and consequently caused me to make the world a better place. And I agree, just knowing there are people out there somewhere who care about you makes you feel a little safer.**hugs**
