Today has been hectic. Sunday’s shouldn’t be hectic. They should be serene and relaxing and should really only be available in winter months when you can curl up on the settee with a good book and/or a weepy film and coffee with a dash of Bailey’s in it to spice it up. Meeting The Blokey’s parents at Comet so they could look at computers, visiting the tip to dispose of the cardboard boxes and a monitor that have been causing havoc [and a very untidy mess] on the spare bed for absolutely yonks, watching the rain fall and make pretty patterns on the road, attending a barbecue in honour of a friend who turns 32 this week [The Blokey is still there … it’s so quiet here … ssshhhh], and finally having to leave that barbecue early because The Mumsy stopped by for a cup of tea on her way back home from Northampton. And she was feeling sad. Bless her little cotton socks. I think she left here after her brief respite feeling a tad better though. Thank goodness, because I hate to see her sad.
So I had the opportunity to spend ten minutes taking some daft tests. I’m so nerdy. Yay!
